Exciting News.................

that I forgot to tell. A few weeks ago I posted that I had submitted applications for a couple of Design Teams. Well, guess what??? I was also selected to join the team at

The Scrapbook Shelf
I joined the forum over there not long after the site was formed and have found it to be a wonderful place, so much so that it is the only Australian forum that I actively contribute to these days. There was a fairly quick turnaround to my first showcase reveal, but I had the pleasure of working with the October Afternoon "Hometown" range and Pink Paislee pressons. I created three projects:
a double layout:
a mini book documenting our first camping weekend:
and a set of three cards:
Well only 5 sleeps to go. I have packed my bag, except for last minute essentials. My last task will be to write the animal feeding instructions for my exceptionally spoilt animals. Thankfully my cousin is going to come and housesit for us and take care of everything ~ I'm quite sure he's got no idea what he is in for with the animals!!

Scrap the Boys........................

April challenge is up:

This months challenge is to take inspiration from the below billboard...you could use the beachy feel, use the look as a form of sketch, pull certain elements (eg. surfboards, swirls, trees... etc) or use the colour scheme and paint effects whatever you like...

Have fun with it and get creative...layouts due midnight 30th April to be in the running for the fabulous prizes from our generous sponsors

and here is my interpretation of the challenge:

Only 8 sleeps to go before we jet off to Vietnam ~ woohoo!!
