This is becoming.................

a habit ~ I'm back again. I've had a lovely day today scrapping with Liana. The boys played beautifully together ~ wouldn't have known they were here except for the wicked giggling! On the scrapping front I have some things to share. Firstly, sneak peaks of my Let's Scrap DT layouts:

Received my DT pack for next month and it is gorgeous, can't wait to make a start on that, should be the perfect distraction after I return to work next week.
Have also completed my two comp layouts for BonsScraps:
monthly kit challenge:

and monthly theme ~ celebrate:

Really pleased with both these layouts and really enjoying DBL's at the moment. Off to get organised so I can watch Nip/Tuck later ~ I know it's trashy, but hey I love it.
Cheers

Mmmmmmm.....................

where did those few days go?? I have been a little busy though, with preparation for the return to school and scrapping projects of course.
We went out last night and celebrated our first year together. Had a beautiful dinner at Chez Pok, located at Peppers Guest House in Hunter wine country. Highly recommended ~ ambience was amazing (our table was on the verandah and it was lightly drizzling rain outside),service was great and the food was sensational. A perfect evening and so close to home ~ gotta love that! Riley spent the evening with cousin Maddie and they are happily playing the day away ~ gotta be happy with that too.
On the scrapping front Let's Scrap had their first cybercrop last night. Seems all had a good time after reading the chat today. Must try to complete a few more of the challenges this afternoon. I set one of the sketch challenges, here's my example:

and a second example condensing the sketch into a single layout

Have also completed my DT layouts for Let's Scrap, but can't release those until 1st Feb, so stay tuned. Currently working on my monthly kit layout for Bons Scraps and plan to finish that today or tomorrow when I am having a scrapping day with my bestie. So guess I'm off to scrap.
Cheers.

WooHoo.................

Two days in a row ~ bet that doesn't happen real often. Bit of a nondescript day today. Went into work for a few hours to print programs etc ready for the return in a weeks time. Then decided it was time to tackle the Christmas decorations. Boy does the house look bare ~ I have obviously become very comfortable with the cluttered look of Christmas. Took the last of the photos for my Christmas journal~ the cleanup.

Received some happy mail ~ the Dec/Jan boy kit from BonsScraps ~ very nice. Think I might work on a layout tomorrow to enter into the monthly kit comp over there. In other scrapping news I have completed a layout for Scrapworlds monthly competition:

a layout for the first weekly dare over at Embellished:

two layouts for the monthly challenges at Let's Scrap:

and a layout just because:

and just maybe I'll be back tomorrow!!

Okay.................

so I'm not good at this. My Christmas journal is well under way ~ just became impossible to work on over the crazy time that is end of term and Christmas, but it has been a pleasant way to spend time during the holidays.

Exciting news, for me anyway ~ I was successful in gaining a Design Team position at Let's Scrap. My final layouts:

I also made a mini album documenting our Christmas traditions, but I haven't photographed as yet (note to self!!).

And this Saturday night is Let's Scraps' first ever cybercrop. I'm responsible for a sketch challenge ~ here is a sneak peak:

CC Sneak 600

In other scrapping news, I have been scrapping. Have decided to participate in the Aussie Scrapjacked and 123 Challenges. this month Kim Archer was jacked and the requirements for the 123 were: use a scalpel, title as part of the journalling and use red. Really happy with both attempts:

Will try to be back tomorrow with some more layouts.
